Meet Dice Maddox
Dice Maddox is a 26-year-old in the first book and 27 in the rest of the books so far (up to book 4)
She applied and received her Private Investigator's license (in Ontario) at the age of 18. First job as a PI she hounded Eric Lawson, a Toronto Private Investigator of Lawson Investigations until he agreed to hire her temporarily. Eventually, he met her aunt who was less than thrilled about the idea, and they were soon married, making Eric her uncle and after a while her partner.
When Eric Lawson was killed in a car accident, her aunt encouraged her to take a leave of absence from the business. Four years later, Dice Maddox had enough of taking advice from people and decides to take back her business. Reopening a Private Investigation office, and stumbling into a world of mystery, how well did she know her aunt Sophie who raised her after her parents had died in a car accident when she was five years old? Her deceased uncle was privy to an underworld of interlacing mystery and peculiar individuals that are more than happy to introduce themselves to Dice Maddox.
